  Big Latch On 2018

Yahoo!!! We broke our record with 40 babies counted latched, this included an expressed breastmilk feeding mum as well. What a buzz there was in the room. There were mums new to town who came by themselves and knew no one so hope they enjoyed themselves. We had 2 10 day old babies too. Thank you to all the mums and babies, the support of the Plunket nurses and Local Midwives. Sue Milner came from Waipa District council and Yvonne Foreman the 1st National Chairperson of La Leche League NZ and the Leader who set up the Cambridge La Leche League Group 51 years ago. Thank you to all you provided a lovely morning tea and the businesses and individuals who provided spot prizes galore.

This is an annual event so keep an eye out for next year!
